Make an appointment

How do I set up an appointment?

  1. Go to Tutor Trac at  https://academicsupport.gatech.edu/ and log in with your GT username and password (the same terms you use for Buzzport, Oscar, T-Square, and Zimbra).
  2. Once you’ve logged in, select “Search for Availabilities.”
  3. Click on the drop-down menu for “CENTER,” and select “Communication Center.”
  4. In the next field, select "Communication Project."
  5. Select a range of dates for appointments and click Search.
  6. After you've selected an appointment, select Written, Oral, Visual, Electronic, or Non-verbal to describe your project.
  7. In the Notes field, briefly describe on what aspect of your project you would like to receive feedback from the tutor.
  8. Once you've made your appointment, you will automatically receive an email confirmation of it.

Before the Appointment

Since appointments are 30 minutes long, make sure to have any files needed for the session either ready to print or project. The file on a Flash Drive is ideal. For short papers, we have printers available for you. For visual materials, we have a SMART BOARD that can project the document.

Reserving Rehearsal Rooms

The rehearsal rooms can be used in conjunction with your tutoring appointment. We do not reserve them, however. You will need to reserve them on your own by visiting GTEVENTS
