Though I got my MA and PhD at the University of Georgia in Athens, I attended Emory University for undergrad, so I'm happy to be back in Atlanta teaching and consulting. Between all of my degrees and instructorships, I have taught and worked in writing centers for over ten years. My academic research area is in Early Modern studies, but because of my training in digital humanities, I work with texts and artifacts from different time periods and places. My most recent project involves encoding marginalia left by a popular 19th-century Shakespearean actress in her personal copy of Shakespeare's plays. In addition to my teaching and research, I enjoy working with students in consultations. I work with clients to help them create strong work that they can be proud of.
