My name is Jose Miranda-Hernandez, and I’m a third-year undergrad student coming from the rural farmland of Jackson County, GA. I’m majoring in Architecture while minoring in Sustainable Cities and aiming for a certificate in Construction Management. Besides school, I’m deeply involved in organizations such as the Latin American Student Organization as the VP, the Hispanic Recruitment Team, the School of Architecture, and OMED. In my free time, I enjoy reading utopian-themed novels with some of my favorite artists’ music playing in the background and binge-watching my favorite Netflix series. My position in the Communication Center has assisted me in enhancing my social and interaction abilities and has taught me valuable life lessons along the way. These experiences will be essential in understanding the actual work environment and will help me reach my future goal of founding my own architecture firm.
